The FIU Computer Center is responsible for overseeing and developing computer facilities, software and hardware infrastructure for the entire university. The role of the Computer Center is:
Development and maintenance of FIU Computer laboratories.
Develop and maintain the FIU web.
Optimize the site for maximum exposure.
Improve the site for mobile convenience.
Maintaining the FIU WI-FI infrastructure.
Ensure that the FIU mail service is running.
Help students gain online access to relevant information.
Maintenance and supervision of all desktop computers and other digital equipment on campus.
Ensure maximum access to the required software.
Create and maintain FIU online learning platform.
Help ensure that FIU students graduate with a high level of digital proficiency.
